Jiwoon Lee is a Ph.D. student in Nuclear Engineering with the Department of Nuclear, Plasma & Radiological Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea.

His research interests include neuromorphic computing, scientific computing, and computational neuroscience. He received the Best Paper Award (Bronze) at the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics–Asia (ICCE-Asia).
